Our Partnership

We are looking for potential teachers with a passion for their subject, a desire to immerse themselves in the school community, to take responsibility for their professional growth and development into an excellent teacher.

The Bracknell Forest Partnership (University of Reading ITE Hub) consists of eight co-educational secondary schools, a pupil referral unit and two special schools.  All our secondary schools have sixth forms, which gives trainees the opportunity to show the passion and depth of knowledge of their subject.

We seek for highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals, who set their own high standards, work well as part of a team and are able to reflect on their own learning.

The ability to relate to and motivate young people is essential. Enthusiasm and depth of subject knowledge should be apparent as should keenness to share this with pupils. Read our Mission Statement

Bracknell Forest has a proven track record of involvement with the school based teacher training programme, the route that allows you to gain Qualified Teacher Status whilst based within a school, supported by the University of Reading.

Our innovative, school-led teacher training programmes have been designed and developed in collaboration with experts from the University and our consortium schools.

Training starts in September 2024 and at the end of the programme most trainees will be offered a post in their host school or within one of our partnership schools.  Find details of our places here
