This Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) in Physics and Mathematics 36XK course leads to the award of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). It is identical to the University of Reading’s course F3GX.

Applicants to our course will be interviewed by The Bracknell Forest Partnership and, if successful, train in two of our ITE Hub schools. They will  become members of the University and follow the same training as the University students.

Across the partnership we have excellent facilities for the teaching of Physics and Mathematics and they are very popular subjects at GCSE and A-level.

All our partnership schools include 6th form, so there is the opportunity to work with a whole variety of key stages and ability groups, there are also opportunities for pupils to develop their interest in the subjects beyond their regular lessons.

Your teaching experience will be mainly in Physics lessons and you will also be offered experiences in Maths lessons but the assessment of your teaching will be through your Physics teaching not in Maths teaching.
