Across the consortium we have excellent facilities for Chemistry teaching; it is a popular subject at GCSE and A-level with unique opportunities for the ‘wow’ factor seeing Chemistry in action.

As a science teacher, you are likely to have the opportunity to teach Chemistry, Biology and Physics to Key Stage 3 students and mostly Chemistry at Key stage 4. As our partnership include 6th forms, you will have the chance to experience working with all key stages, giving you a range of teaching experiences and opening up a variety of career paths.

Our pupils develop analytical and problem solving skills which can be transferred to other disciplines and have opportunities to further develop their interest in Chemistry, for example taking part in annual challenges and inter-schools competitions.

If you love Chemistry and enjoy the challenge of expanding your experience in all aspects of science we would love you to come and work with us in our dynamic, imaginative teams
